Burning Spear and Jack Ruby went their separate ways before the release of 'Dry & Heavy' and it is a self-produced work. Ruby had produced Spear's hugely popular 'Marcus Garvey' and 'Man In The Hills' albums. 'Dry & Heavy' is one of my favourite Spear albums.
